I'm not starting from scratch.
For 25 years I've discussed the issues facing this state on the air, every single day. I've lived in these fights for a quarter century while most freshmen legislators are still finding their offices.
Why This Campaign Is Different
I may be the most dangerous candidate Connecticut has ever put on a ballot.
"I have been silenced — pulled off the airwaves the moment I dared to challenge the status quo. That's not democracy. That's a one-party machine protecting itself."
I will not bend. I will not soften my message or trade the truth for a friendlier headline. However they try to distort my words or drown out my voice, I will keep standing — because the people of this district deserve a senator who answers to them, not to a machine that has run unchallenged for nearly fifty years.
I have no political future to protect.
I'm not building a career or setting up my next race. Win or lose, every vote I cast and every word I speak serves one purpose: making the case for a government that actually answers to the people it serves. That message doesn't depend on me winning — it needs to be said either way.
I stand for the truth, convenient or not.
If a program isn't working, I'll say so. If a policy is hurting the people I represent, I'll say so. That's the standard I hold myself to — and the standard every seat in Hartford should be held to.
The Choice
