Senate District 20

Eight communities. One neighbor in Hartford.

District 20 runs along the southeastern Connecticut shoreline and up the Thames River — New London, Waterford, East Lyme, Old Lyme, Salem, Montville, Bozrah, and Old Saybrook.

The towns of District 20

New London

A working waterfront city — the port, the shipyard, and the small businesses on Bank Street deserve a senator who shows up more than once every two years.

New London priorities

Waterford

Home to Millstone and thousands of good jobs. Energy policy written in Hartford lands here first, and it has to protect ratepayers and workers alike.

Waterford priorities

East Lyme

Great schools, Rocky Neck, and rising costs. Local control of education and predictable taxes are the priorities neighbors raise at the door.

East Lyme priorities

Old Lyme

A shoreline town with flood risk, historic character, and mandates written for cities. Old Lyme needs a voice that defends local zoning.

Old Lyme priorities

Salem

A small town that pays big-state prices. Fair education funding and road money that actually reaches rural roads matter here.

Salem priorities

Montville

From Uncasville to Oakdale — jobs, public safety, and utility bills are the kitchen-table issues Lee hears most.

Montville priorities

Bozrah

Farms, families, and a fire department that runs on volunteers. Small towns should not be an afterthought in the state budget.

Bozrah priorities

Old Saybrook

A shoreline community at the mouth of the Connecticut River. Local control, flood resilience, and keeping small businesses strong are priorities here.

Old Saybrook priorities

Southeastern CT jobs

Electric Boat, Millstone, the casinos, and the small businesses that supply them. Lee will protect the industries that pay this region's mortgages.

Shoreline and river towns

Flood resilience, working harbors, and marinas — handled by people who live here, not mandated from a committee room.

Utility bills on the shoreline

District 20 pays some of the highest electric rates in the country. Lee will vote against every hidden charge added to your bill.
