About Lee
The voice of southeastern Connecticut.
New London native. Talk-radio host. Political commentator. Print journalist. Former professional baseball player. And a proud, middle-class conservative running to represent District 20 in the Connecticut State Senate.

Lee Elci is an American radio talk-show host, political commentator, print journalist, author, writer and producer — and a proud, middle-class conservative who has never been afraid to say what he thinks.
Born in New London, Connecticut, Lee has spent his life in the same corner of the state he is now asking to represent. He is a longtime southeastern Connecticut resident with a deep love of animals, a strong belief in personal freedom, and an abiding respect for veterans and first responders.
Before he was behind the microphone, Lee was on the mound and in the field. He is a former professional baseball player in the St. Louis Cardinals organization and played professionally in Europe and Australia. Along the way he also found time in front of the camera, including a recurring role on the soap opera "As the World Turns" and appearances on The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Guiding Light and ESPN.
For more than two decades Lee has hosted talk radio, reaching hundreds of thousands of listeners on 94.9 News Now and the USA Radio Network. His regular guests include military heroes, doctors, foreign-policy experts, political columnists, and elected officials at every level — from mayors and governors to senators and congressmen. He is also a regular contributor to The Day newspaper in New London.
Lee is unapologetically a proud American. He is running for State Senate because he believes Hartford has stopped listening to the people who make Connecticut work — and he intends to change that.
"It's time to get in the arena."
— Lee Elci
